What are interjections?
Interjections (also called exclamations) are short words or sounds that express feelings, emotions, or reactions.
They often stand alone and do not have any grammatical function in a sentence.
People use them to show surprise, joy, pain, anger, or other emotions.
Inother words, Interjections are words you say when you feel something suddenly — for example, happiness, pain, surprise, or disgust.
They don’t belong to a sentence structure and are usually written with an exclamation mark (!).

How can you identify interjections?
Sie stehen meist allein oder am Satzanfang.
They usually stand alone or at the beginning of a sentence.
Sie werden oft mit einem Ausrufezeichen (!) geschrieben.
They are often written with an exclamation mark (!).
Sie ändern sich nicht (keine Endungen, keine Konjugation).
They do not change (no endings, no conjugation).
Sie drücken Gefühle oder spontane Reaktionen aus.
They express feelings or spontaneous reactions.
