1. Compound Writing (up to thousand)

Everything is written as one word:

• 125 → einhundertfünfundzwanzig

2. From “Million” onwards → written separately

Because it is a noun:

• 1,000,000 → eine Million
• 2,500,000 → zwei Millionen fünfhunderttausend

3. “ein” vs “eins”

• 1 → eins
• 100 → einhundert
• 1,000 → eintausend (or simply tausend)
• 1 million → eine Million

4. No “und” with hundred/thousand

Wrong: einhundert und zwanzig
Correct: einhundertzwanzig

• “und” is used only in numbers like:
